ORIGINAL COMMERCIAL CANON • CREATED BY ARIA KAY
Welcome to STARWEIGHT
Kita is Aria Kay’s original nineteen-year-old rescue vigilante. Officially classified as powerless, she can alter weight and momentum inside a limited field—and crosses Cadenza’s rooftops to help the people its licensed system leaves behind.
Read Comic Episode 1 Meet Kita Meet DarkThe city of Cadenza
A vertical coastal city built around Aurora Spire, Cadenza lives with the aftermath of the First Resonance. Harmonic abilities changed everything—but access, licensing, and protection are not shared equally.
Skyrail
Transport towers and suspended routes where every failure becomes a fall.
Eastwire
Music, studios, repair shops, pirate signals, and the Rooftop Network.
Glassward
Aegis headquarters, hospitals, archives, and official power.
Low Harbor
Flood streets, warehouses, ferries, and neighborhoods too often ignored.
Quiet Mile
An abandoned Concord corridor with dangerous answers underground.
Harmonics and the cost of power
Harmonics fall into six known families: Kinetic, Luminous, Material, Sensory, Vital, and Silent. Every ability has a function, a cost called Backlash, and an Anchor that helps its user recover. There is no unlimited energy here.
Kita’s Starweight moves
- Lift changes weight.
- Anchor locks a target against unwanted motion.
- Turn redirects momentum.
- Cradle catches and cushions a fall.
- Thread links several moving targets inside one field.
Her cost is Drift: vertigo, disorientation, involuntary pulses, and possible collapse. Music is her primary Anchor. Dark’s voice is her backup.
