Kita | STARWEIGHT Character Profile

STARWEIGHT ORIGINAL CANON • CREATED BY ARIA KAY

Kita with magenta hair, headphones, flower crown, neon outfit, and white wings

Kita

Age 19 • Unlicensed responder • Rescue vigilante

Kita is Aria Kay’s original nineteen-year-old rescue vigilante from the STARWEIGHT universe. Officially classified as powerless, she can alter weight and momentum inside a limited field. She survived Project Counterweight and now crosses Cadenza’s rooftops to help the people its licensed system leaves behind.

“I don’t need permission to keep somebody from falling.”

What she can do

Starweight lets Kita Lift, Anchor, Turn, Cradle, and Thread targets through a precise field of changed weight and momentum. She uses it like a rescue tool before she ever treats it like a weapon.

The cost

Overuse causes Drift: vertigo, spatial disorientation, involuntary gravity pulses, and eventual collapse. Music keeps her oriented. If the music fails, Dark’s voice can bring her home.

Personality

Rescue first. Sarcastic comment second. Kita is stubborn, warm, impulsive, and fiercely allergic to leaving people behind. Her unofficial motto is “Lift first. Panic later.”

Book One

After an impossible Skyrail rescue, Kita finds a Silent child carrying a Concord frequency tag. The clue pulls her into the Quiet Mile, where Project Counterweight is still hurting people—and where the city will eventually give her a name: STARWEIGHT.
